This post is primarily an appreciation post, and I feel compelled to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our friends, supporters, and loyal customers who have been with us every step of the way on this incredible journey! Your unwavering support means the world to us, and I truly want to take this moment to extend a tremendous thank you to each and every one of you. It is because of your enthusiasm and encouragement that I am having such a marvelous time doing what I love, and I genuinely cherish the community we have built together!

Yesterday was a particularly special day for us, as we had the immense pleasure of hosting Shannon Dubabin from Cascade Yarns. The event included a delightful Yarn Tasting and an engaging Mosaic Knitting Workshop, both of which turned out to be exceptional experiences for everyone involved. The atmosphere was filled with creativity and excitement, as participants gathered to explore the world of yarn and knitting. Shannon brought with her a wealth of knowledge that truly amazed us all. Her expertise in yarn, textiles, dyeing techniques, and knitting practices is nothing short of extraordinary. It was inspiring to see her passion for fiber arts and how she generously shared her insights with everyone present.

During the Yarn Tasting, Shannon took the time to discuss each type of yarn she brought along, detailing the unique characteristics, textures, and applications of each one. She showcased an array of knit projects that highlighted the versatility of these yarns, and her enthusiasm was infectious. Attendees were captivated as she shared fun patterns and exciting trends, revealing innovative ways to use the yarns creatively. I found myself thoroughly engrossed in her explanations, and I have a strong suspicion that everyone else in attendance felt the same way. The workshop was not just an opportunity to learn but also a chance to connect with fellow knitting enthusiasts, share ideas, and inspire one another.

In addition to the enriching experience provided by Shannon, both she and Cascade Yarns were incredibly generous with their door prizes and yarn giveaways. Every participant left with a wonderful bounty of yarn to add to their personal stash, along with patterns specifically designed for each type of yarn they received. To top it all off, everyone got delightful bags to keep all their new treasures organized. It was a truly rewarding experience, and I am grateful to Shannon and Cascade Yarns for their generosity and for making the day so memorable. Events like these remind us why we love what we do and how important it is to foster a vibrant community of crafters. Thank you once again to everyone who participated and supported us; your enthusiasm fuels our passion and drives us forward!

P.S. Love the shawl I am wearing in the picture below? You can make it too! I used Cascade Heritage 6 Handpaints #603 and Cascade 220 Superwash Sport #877, we have both in stock here at the shop!
