Summer has arrived, and with it has brought new products and bright, fun colors of yarn.

Speaking of instructors, have you seen the new class line-up? We have had two successful Sock Knitting classes, plus cookie decorating, and painting. On the schedule are more cookie classes, earring making, some weekday classes during summer break, and a drop spindle class so you can learn to spin fiber which is the beginning step to creating your own yarn! And now, just in, the fiber you can pick for class includes Malabrigo Yarn's Nube.
We have some beautiful colors, and are excited to expand the line of Malabrigo Yarns. We will be placing another order with them soon, so if you have something specific you want from them please come in and we can add it on to our next order.
These warmer months also saw the return of the Klamath Falls Farmer's Market. We love this as it has brought is returning friends as well as new customers who had not heard of us, or had heard of us but didn't know where we were. We paid for booth space this year, and with it have been able to to offer a free kid's craft to an average of 100 children each week! We made poppies in honor of Memorial Day, wool pompom sheep when she Spinners Guild was with us, and oragami suns for the summer solstice. We know yarn isn't typically the first thing you think of during long summer days. But we are loving the stories from visitors to our shop telling us they are seeing sights along the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway and just HAD to check out the new yarn shop along the way.
